Mulan

Worldy yet down to earth, tomboyishly stylish and more put together than most people I know, I can't wait to be a nurse with M.

Elle Woods

Brunette version, from Legally Blond 2 - my driven friend A who kicks butt daily on the hill. I like Chessie better than Bruiser though :)

Dory

One of my favorite hokies ever, she's known by pretty much everyone who was at tech when she was and is everyone's personal cheerleader. Just keep swimming....

Meg

From Hercules - Literature loving K, who moved to NYC to go back to school, the most fun and down to earth girl I know.

Edna

From the Incredibles - doesn't take crap from anyone, is hysterical, there for you in a pinch, and always working behind the scenes for the good of the group. Plus Edna is my favorite character in the whole movie and really brings the "family" together....just like my fellow december birthday friend.

Piglet

My college roommate. Piglet was always my favorite of the AA Milne characters, and the one I related to most. Often slightly timid, always sweet and an incessant worrier, she's definitely the smartest in the hundred acre wood (even though that credit is often given to owl). Although piglet is a he, and my roommate is a she, I think of her as piglet because she's always the unsung hero. And if you haven't seen the end of Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery day, you'll see what I mean. That's K.

Nala/ Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl!)

Stubborn, a born leader, one of the most loving and giving people I know and always the voice of reason... my lovely wife.

Ariel

Feisty and athletic, my sorority little A always knows what she wants and goes for it. She's a smart cookie, and you shouldn't cross her in drinking games, or her alter-ego Georgia Crunk might make an appearance ;) She's also by far the best email pen pal ever...

Cinderella

My roommate, C. I think of her as Cinderella not because she's neater than me (although, she unquestionably is), but because I think of our University's Medical School as the evil stepmother and stepsisters who make her work so excessively, often at the expense of attending the metaphorical "ball" (or at the very best enforce a midnight curfew).

Unlike Cinderella, C is probably the best giver of advice I know to the point where she's my personal Oprah. She's witty, athletic and my equal when it comes to traveling. Like the rescuers down under, she's my partner in crime and fellow navigation mistress.

Miss Honey

The quintessential teacher, even before she closeted her engineering degree for one in elementary education. My sorority big and confidant K knows me better than I know myself, and is always encouraging of me using my "special powers" (weirdness) for the greater good. She's also a Mrs. Dolittle and the most talented crafty person I know.

Robin Hood/Curious George/ Ace Ventura

My significant other half. Whatever part of him that Robin Hood fails to describe, Curious George covers, and vice versa, and if you catch him just so, he is Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura.

Roo/Arthur

My not-so-little brother. Although I like the name Roo better, I also think of my brother as Arthur the aardvark. For more about Roo, go here.
